GD this series is amazing. You hardly even get scenes like @8:30--13:30 in cinema anymore let alone traditional anime. The music, dialogue, emphasis on subtlety and emotion come together in one fantastically directed human adventure that's uniquely organic. I never thought anything could compete with my all time favorites, but this is not only knocking on the door, it's breaking it down.
